TE Connectivity's Product Pricing Teams determine the price of new and existing products by evaluating cost, marketplace, competitor data, economic conditions, volume, and quality of the product, as well as market positioning.

The pricing analyst is responsible for determining the price of new and existing products by evaluating cost, marketplace, competitor data, economic conditions, volume, and quality of the product, as well as market positioning.
The pricing analyst will execute and manage pricing strategy on product lines / customer accounts by following the pricing process, policy, DOA and business rules to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness.
This role with utilize the accumulated knowledge of pricing system/tools, to provide advanced pricing analysis to facilitate pricing decisions in conjunction with other stakeholders (such as Product Management, Sales, Customer Care etc.)
to address operational issues, achieve business objectives and drive for improvement in daily processes.
**Responsabilities**:
- Assess special pricing requests or requests for profitability and commercial effects of Distribution Channel transactional pricing decisions across Appliances in a timely manner.
- Improve price request response time and reduce responsiveness variation.
- Work closely with Product Management team and sales team to execute BU pricing strategy in the region.
- Assist with pricing and quotation procedure changes and improvements.
- Interact regularly with other Pricing team members, Sales, Product Management and Customer Care personnel.
- Identifying and recommending margin and price improvement opportunities across the Business Unit's Business.
- Evaluate quote performance and make appropriate recommendations.
Engage with Sales to obtain data to aid in these recommendations.
- Serve as the key contributor of Appliance Pricing Team with assigned Channel accounts.
- Ownership of pricing metrics including Business net price realization, reduction of negative price (erosion) and response time.
- Develop understanding of market insights, competitive benchmarking, reference valuation, and cost to serve, to effectively implement pricing tactics and strategies to maximize Business Unit revenue.
**Key Qualifications, Experiences and Knowledge**:
- Must possess confidence and assertiveness
- Critical and strategic thinker who can manage the details
- Demonstrated ability to drive and influence change within global and cross functional teams
- At least 5 years of working experience, strong preference for Pricing or consulting background.
- Strong project management skills and attention to details a must
- Proven ability to conceptualize and analyze complex business problems and issues
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, including participation in cross functional teams
- High energy; integrity and a track record of success
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or Economics.
- Proficiency with the MS Office packages Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with SAP and Advanced Pricing Software also a plus
- Initiates action to achieve goals beyond what is required.
