Responsibilities
- Direct Supervision of personnel in charge.
- Review departmental processes continuously to ensure that department, company, and customer objectives are being met.
- Support other planners in reviewing capacity requirements planning and material availability to meet the Customer Request Date (CRD).
- Ensure the correct setup of item master planning data for manufacturing items.
- Establish the Trades Sales goals in conjunction with VST, Finance and Planning Manager
- Establish/define and monitor inventory targets in conjunction with Planning Manager for manufactured items.
- Assist on other duties, tasks, or projects assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Knowledge / Education
- English proficiency: Advanced
- Licentiate degree in Industrial Engineer or Business Administrator.
- Knowledge on ERP systems. Advance Planning Systems.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma Methodology and Lean Manufacturing.
- Additional Knowledge it is considered a Plus.
- Master Degree in Supply Chain, Project Management or Business Administration.
- APICS (CPIM) certification.
- Supervisory experience.
Job Experience
- At least 6 years of experience in planning and manufacturing environment.
- At least 6 years of experience within the medical device manufacturing or pharmaceutical fields, or any other highly regulated industry (i.e. food, aerospace, etc.).
