**BAT is evolving at pace - truly like no other organisation.****To achieve the ambition, we have set for ourselves, we are looking for colleagues who are ready to live our ethos every day.****Come be a part of this journey!****BAT COSTA RICA** **IS LOOKING FOR A PLANNING & REPORTING ANALYST****SENIORITY LEVEL**:Experienced - Non-Management Level**FUNCTION**: DBS - GBS Finance**SALARY RANGE**:Competitive Salary + Excellent Benefits + Market Leading Bonus**LOCATION**:Heredia, Costa Rica**ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES****Reports to**:R2R Finance Associate**Reporting Level**:Junior Level**Geographic Scope**:USA**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**- Review financial statements for actual/planning reporting.- Review and approve weekly/monthly reports.- Coordinate Bi-Annual forecast planning cycles and financial reviews.- Coordinate Bi-Annual /half year/full year reporting cycles and financial reviews.- Promote standardization, automation and simplification of processes which fall within the boundaries of the Planning & Reporting area.- Review and provide accurate and timely monthly variance data and root cause analysis for volume, revenue and cost of sales.- Manage ad-hoc projects as required.- Engage with different stakeholders.**CAN THIS BE YOUR FUTURE ROLE?**- Do you have previous experience working in a Shared Services industry or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods environment?- Do you have strong knowledge of finance and English language?**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE**- Graduated with a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related fields.- Proven experience as a senior finance analyst or similar roles with at least 3 years of work experience.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (B2+ / C1).- High proficiency and detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel.- Working knowledge of accounting and planning software, such as SAP.- Solid skills in time management, prioritization and problem solving.- A self-starter individual who can work with strong attention to details with ability to spot numerical errors.- Excellent organization and communication skills with rational decision making and problem-solving abilities are essential.**BENEFICIAL**- BPC system knowledge desirable.- US GAAP & IFRS basic knowledge- Macro knowledge desirable**WE ARE BAT **#LI-SB1**At BAT we are committed to our Purpose of creating A Better Tomorrow.
