The Planning Manager reporting directly to CRVLE Manager will be responsible for managing the Planning Engineering and Capacity Planning Teams.
With a strong Industrial Engineering and Customer focus approach Planning Department will also serve as a primary point of contact of Lab's operations to internal and external customers insuring the supply chain, capacity, production programing and product roadmap deliverables are met.
- Drives tactical and strategic Lab's Operations needs with a focus on capacity, cost, space and capital planning, as well as decision support systems and operations, to maximize operation's efficiency
- Setting priorities for the teams, driving results across boundaries, developing collaborators, and managing performance.
- Ensuring a safe, inclusive work environment while meeting your area/department commitments aligned to OKRs
- As a department manager, working with the staff to set strategic direction for the Operation and working with your department to execute the strategy.
- Building strong relationships with peers on the CRVLE staff, MPE Vertical Teams, PDEs, PQB, CQN, CAME and IoTG Business Units while working in a very dynamic environment.

**Qualifications**
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- Must possess a Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science.
- 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, specifically in manufacturing and planning operations.
- 5+ years of capacity or process experience
- 3+ years managing engineering teams with a proven track record leading and developing personnel while achieving deliverables and business results
- 5+ years of experience leading technical taskforces and resolving complex technical issues.
- Advanced knowledge of manufacturing, factory physics, TOC, linear programing or mathematical optimization, capacity systems and methodologies.
- Advanced knowledge LEAN, Operational Excellence, continuous improvement and problem solving techniques.
- Advanced MS Office skills (Charts, Macros, algorithms and/or mathematical functions; Pivot and Dynamic tables programing and Power BI)
- Advanced English level.
- Must have permanent-unrestricted right to work in Costa Rica.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Master degree.
- Demonstrated technical leadership and a track record of problem solving with creativity and out-of-box thinking.
- Experience with capital tool planning, forecasting and optimization, installed capacity and space planning; procurement processes expertise is a plus- Demonstrated ability to simulate capacity and requirements based on metric and capacity models for demand planning, critical queue time analysis, limiter charts, throughput and track time assessment.
