Planner I

The Opportunity This position works out of our Costa Rica – Alajuela location in the Electrophysiology Division.Our business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life through the design and provision of device and management solutions for the treatment of structural heart disease.As the Planner I, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed manufacturing build plans, for existing and new products, that meets defined service level and inventory targets for the division.What You'll Do Defines the manufacturing build plan, based on the ERP signals accounting also for the inputs from the SupplyReview and S&OP Sales & Operations meetings.Clearly communicates the build plan to the production line and follows up on the volume and mix execution.Collaborates with Industrial Engineering in the capacity assessment and incorporates the outputs of the process into the S&OP.Has the customer in mind and looks over product availability.
Is responsible to prevent, communicate and prioritize back order situations.Basic knowledge in ERP system functionality and MRP logic.Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree or having successfully covered at least 75% of the curriculum at the University to obtain this degree and is currently studying in Engineering or related field,0-3 years of working experience in Production Planning functions or related activities (capacity modeling, line scheduling, materials planning).Use of MS Office software desired.Intermediate Command of English.Shift Adm.Preferred QualificationsMedical Device experience is a plus.ERP experience is a plus.
