**ROLE SUMMARY**
**Reports to **:Payroll Manager
**Reporting Level**: Mid - Senior Level
**Geographic Scope**: Canada
**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**
- Ability to reconcile pre-processing reports to ensure accuracy of information before processing payroll.
- Research discrepancies in payroll information and documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to procedures before processing.
- Maintains payroll information, files, and records to provide up-to-date references and audit trail for compliance.
- Analyze payroll-related information to ensure accurate distribution of funds and payroll.
- Knowledge of Canadian forms - TD1, PD1, ROE, PDOC. Year-end forms - T4, RL1, T2200.
- Knowledge of Canadian processing Payroll.
- Keep constant communication and controls with Finance to enable them the completion of reconciliations by the end of the period.
- Identifies opportunity areas in the process that can add value to the operation.
**ESSENTIAL** **EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE**
- Bachelor's Degree (or currently studying) in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources, or related fields.
- With at least one year of experience in payroll processing.
- Medium / advanced knowledge in the Day Force technology platform.
- MS Office - Medium / advanced level.
- English - at least B2.
- Propose new ideas and constantly innovate in the current role.
- Understand responsibility and capable of making decisions.
- Communicate with peers, managers, and stakeholders effectively.
**BENEFICIAL**
- French desirable but not required
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification preferred but not required
- Success Factors, Cherwell and Service Now knowledge.
