**Job Description**:
3M Is Hiring an OTC AP Operational Readiness
Goal of the position:
Performs research and analysis including reporting for the business, supplier, sub-commodity, etc.
May purchase materials and services based on fairly broad parameters.
May manage sub-commodities as assigned.
Leads projects as well as initiatives to ensure cost and quality goals for material, supplies, equipment, and services are met.
Follows Sourcing guidelines to monitor, measure, improve, analyze, and implement Sourcing processes and customer requirements in completing assignments.
Encourages the client to work within Sourcing guidelines.
Works under mínimal supervision.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Leading transition of service to GSC according to transition methodology
- Active support of pre-deployment activities
- Increasing level of knowledge in OTC Accounts Payable through various trainings and knowledge sharing
- Providing required trainings to other 3M departments Implementation support of global processes and tools aligned with GPLs, other Global Service Centers
- Process ownership of crucial IT incidents (i.e.
Code Orange)
- Process activities back up
- Fostering compliance and Global Policies' framework
- Support of SME in cooperation with internal and external auditors
- Representing OTC Accounts Payable in internal and external meetings
- Demonstrating initiative and innovation in the workplace.
Addressing innovative solutions that improve the efficiency / productivity of the team's work
- Acting as first point of contact regarding process questions in the area of Accounts Payable (Legacy)
- Partnering Accounts Payable SME, Quality & Process Team and Global Process Teams
- Supporting implementation of automation solutions
- Overseeing the process documentation according to QMS regulations
- Performing other tasks delegated by the superior
Education and experience:
Knowledge and skills:
- 8-10 years of experience on similar position in Shared Service Center
- Fluent English
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
- SAP experience or other ERP experience
- Process reengineering experience
- Project management experience
- Knowledge of Six Sigma methodology
- Excellent interpersonal skills
