**_MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE_**

This position is to support a ramp process.
Provides leadership to operations or cross functional teams to meet the business results.
This position will have Direct and Indirect reports, quantity will vary depends on exempts or not
exempts roles; their development and coaching is part of its roles.
The role is expected to work independently, with some support from department management supervision.
Responsible for assisting in planning in short and long terms horizon, daily coordination on execution and reach goals for People, Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost indicators and behaviors.
This function supports multiple projects within operations to reach Site and Financial goals thru Operational Excellence standards.
This position should be the responsible for Operations in case that manager is not present or there is not a manager assigned for the area.
May be responsible for daily reporting of all shift's performance from all standpoints of the Operation.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES_**
- Provides leadership to operations staff regarding to maintain Key performance indicators under control, project prioritization, and continuous improvement activities.
- Support/ Backing Operations Manager in all Manufacturing and Business Related activities
- Responsible for manufacturing line decisions for People, Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost indicators.
- Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
- Coordinate operations activities necessary to support successful new product development.
Support project teams and management to implement business objectives and initiatives.
- Manage scheduling activities with cross functional team, working with Supply Chain and Program Management (if needed) to align priorities with planning schedule.
- Coordinate/facilitate Line Performance Reviews with Supervisors line owner.
- Be a spokesperson for the assigned shift manufacturing related aspects.
- Procure and track production, including but not limited to finished goods and raw materials.
Maintain and track inventory for critical production components.
Approve POs for critical production components, materials and services.
- Ensure follow up of tasks during the regular shift schedule and when performing activities in overtime schedules.

QUALIFICATIONS_**
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Administration
- A minimum of 7 years in Manufacturing/ Manufacturing Engineering related positions are required to perform the Job with a demonstrated growth in business functions.
Technical background, analytical and detail oriented capabilities and 5 years prior experience in medical device manufacturing Preferred.
- Computer software knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point) and Power BI (preferred)
- Willing to travel
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies.
Such as operational excellence, lean manufacturing techniques, or similar.
- Solid knowledge of FDA, GMPs and ISO regulations.
CAPA investigation and audit experience.
- Experience in project management involving coordination of cross-functional
teams.
- Fully Bilingual (English and Spanish)
- Preferred Qualifications & Education_
- A minimum of 5 years as Supervisor for Manufacturing roles
- Performance management
