**Operations Manager**:

**Your Tasks**:
- Summary of Key responsibilities
- Supports the Costa Rica legal entity management strategy with compliance to local and national laws
- Prepares cost center budgets based on specifications, projections, trends and company targets
- Monitors cost trends based on budget, as well as current business performance, initiates corrective action when targets are at risk or fundamental conflicts arise
- Builds and maintains a high-level of competence in manufacturing technology to effectively support innovation and design production processes geared to market-driven quality with short throughput times and low costs to optimize the sense of continuous improvement
- Manages production and logistics department, reporting, and effective monitoring of KPIs to ensure compliance with annual objectives and global operations initiatives
- Ensures that quality procedures, company policies, and safety policies and procedures are followed by personnel, Promotes a holistic approach to quality throughout the organization
- Maintenance, collaboration and continuous improvement of processes in order planning, warehouse management, logistics and production to satisfy customer orders quickly, on time, reliably, and with optimal inventories
- Optimizes production technology, equipment, degree of automation and IT tools
- Develops efficiency metrics, measurement criteria, and real time reporting of operator, work cell, and equipment efficiency within the organization, active use of KPIs to control performance of all areas
- Effectively manages and oversees all aspects of the Quality Management System within the operations functions
- Plans, proposes and initializes attractive and economic investments in plants, infrastructures and operating resources
- Ensures safety risks are eliminated and work is carried out in accordance with safety regulations
- Benchmarks the most important parameters with the international H+S locations and external companies
- Responsible for the local implementation of the H+S GoLean Program including regular assessments and reporting
- Ensures compliance with the H+S Global Management System and fulfilment of the requirements of the relevant certification standards

- Logistics, Production engineering Manufacturing & Facility in Costa Rica
- Plans production and personnel capacities in departments according to sales development,
- budget figures, and actual workload
- Ensures a high utilization of personnel and production capacities
- Manages systems in order to adapt capacities to demand- Closely interacts within the global operations network to ensure best service to our customers**Your Profile**:
- Education:
Bachelor of Science Degree in related field
Master of Science Degree in related field
Skills/Knowledge:
Bilingual: Spanish and English expertise is essential
Strong knowledge of technologies, products, materials and manufacturing processes (connectors, cables, cable assemblies) in a high frequency business is desirable
Expert knowledge and experience with procedures and methods of Lean Management
Effective and clear written and oral communication skills
Understanding of key quality standards (ISO9001, AS/EN9100, IATF16949, ISO13485)
Successful initiator and driver of change and continuous improvement
Good conceptual skills and strong implementation skills
Successful developer of organizational talent
