The Regulatory Support and Controls (RSC) team supports MIS objectives by providing operational rating process support, implementing process changes and in-business controls, and providing process metrics and analysis.
RSC owns and manages the MIS Remediation Program, operational control framework and global tactical operations teams as well as supports the end-to-end transactional rating process through workflow coordination and rating desk services.
RSC is looking for an Operations Analyst to join the team to focus on implementing new regulatory requirements, remediation projects, and to support the ownership and execution of regulatory processes.
The Operations Analyst represents a key role in the delivery key initiatives and business processes that are critical to the execution of MIS strategies and establishing standard operational objectives.
Individual will work closely with a variety of key stakeholders within RSC and ROC and across the MIS organization.
- Perform global tactical operations activities and/or participate on cross-functional projects that support the end-to-end MIS ratings process, business transformation directives or evolving regulatory requirements
- Recommend opportunities to standardize business processes and to enhance operational efficiencies
- Perform root cause analysis, remediation, and process improvements to strengthen operational controls and enhance business processes
- Demonstrate Subject Matter Expertise on Rating Processes as well as Policies, Procedures and Guidelines
- Address and resolve high priority requests/inquiries to support Moody's Global Rating Groups
- Proactively liaise with the analytical community and other Moody's teams (e.g., GMO, Compliance, Audit, Commercial, Legal, MIT, etc.)
to effectively resolve outstanding requests/inquiries
- Generate senior management reporting and validate that reports are complete, accurate and produced on time
- Support and drive the successful implementation of new initiatives and projects, including transition to Business As Usual, where applicable
- Support RSC senior managers by maintaining status reports; tracking issues, risks, and dependencies; generating performance metrics and updating Standard Operating Procedures, etc.
Provide business process training and create/update supporting content and training materials (e.g., communications, Guidelines, FAQ's, presentations, etc.
