Typically supervises non-exempt individual contributors in single functional area. Provides immediate supervision to a small tactical team of non-exempt employees engaged in supporting the day-to-day efforts of the department. Employees are usually all direct reports. Requires mentoring and guidance on handling new situations. Escalates issues where known precedent has not been established.
**_ Responsibilities: _**
- Manage team primarily comprised of non-exempt employees or contingent workforce with well-defined, limited scope including directing daily work activities/priorities, people recruitment and development, and cost management.
- Manage FPR activities for HP employees. Manage team and individual performance.
- Role is primarily tactical in nature.
- Ensure operational excellence by monitoring and ensuring team goals and key contractual commitments are met (e.g. SLAs or service delivery goals).
- May have input into budget.
- Advise management and peers on matters of importance to direct area of responsibility.
- May influence direction-setting in direct area of responsibility.
- Resolve/monitor routine customer escalations, as appropriate.
- Maintain existing customer relationships.
**_ Education and Experience Required: _**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science,
Engineering, Business, or related field or equivalent work experience.
- Typically 4+ years of relevant experience.
