The Oncology Brand Lead for Prostate Cancer will set the vision and will lead the development and implementation of the strategic and tactical plan for the assigned oncology product portfolio (currently promoted brands and those for future launches) based on a thorough market understanding and insights collection across all the cross functional team involving commercial, medical, access, and sales teams.
With strong leadership skills, the OBL will lead the sales planning process together with the cross functional team and will deliver goals setting in each market based on a strong understanding of his/her therapeutic area and local market needs/opportunities.
The OBL will also be responsible for budget planning and will ensure investment decisions based on a robust identification of the drivers and barriers of its products/therapeutic area in the assigned markets and will ensure a timely, high quality and flawless execution of the tactical plan.
At the same time, the OBL will contribute by defining plans which includes value proposition, segmentation and targeting, messaging, selling tools, operations and sales training.
The OBL will build and cultivate relationships with HCPs and other stakeholders/influencers across the region.
The OBL will provide Marketing leadership and drive innovation for the Brand(s) throughout its lifecycle and will oversee brand success that truly delivers for patients, healthcare providers and AZ.
**RESPONSABILITIES**

**Brand Planning & Positioning**
- Delivery of annual strategic brand plan with a detailed tactical /activity plan
- Financial short-, mid
- and long-term planning and forecasting
- Drive patient centricity and innovation through impactful campaigns and projects based on customer needs and market environment
- Develop Integrated Patients Solution to be the leading company in designated therapeutic area and support medical, market access and policy program development
- Determine promotional marketing & channel mix including innovative digital approaches

**Operational Plan Delivery and channel strategy & content**
- Collaborate with key team members to develop long range plans, brand strategic plans, and business performance reviews, to inform internal and external stakeholders and communications.
- Sharing best practice across region, brands and local teams and liaise with other markets regarding new campaigns
- Manage promotional budget & develop business cases for new opportunities & return on investments
- Coordinate supply strategy to achieve patient and business goals and objectives.
**Customer Mobilization**
- Ensure execution of operational plan and brand objectives
- Regular contact with field force and Costumers
- KEE development & engagement plan to build a pool of strong brand advocates

**People Development**
- Engage a best in class cross functional organization to become a respected leader while cultivating an inclusive high-performance environment that values and leverages diversity
- Lead sales team to meet /achieve established sales targets and deliver operational business goals.
**EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**

**Essential**
- Based in Costa Rica
- Experience managing and engaging with teams remotely
- +4 years Pharmaceutical Marketing experience
- Launch Experience of high cost products.
- In depth understanding of the Oncology patient experience from diagnosis to treatment initiation.
- Experience of working cross-functionally is essential
- Understanding of Account Planning and Customer Engagement programme and processes
- Demonstrable Strategic thinking and strong execution.
- Clear evidence of innovation leading to success.
- Strong focus on effective decision making and results oriented.
- Ability to deliver the science behind the products and strong competitive mindset.
- Advanced verbal and written English

**Formal Education**
- Major in Business Administration, Marketing, Pharmacy or related.
**Other knowledge, skills, abilities**
- Ability to use Microsoft packages (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Skype, Teams)
- Dynamism
- Proactivity
- Ease of Expression
- Persuasion

**Desirable**
- Appreciation of local healthcare system, pricing and reimbursement processes in Central America and the Caribbean region.
- Experience in Prostate Cancer and precision medicine is preferred.
- Pharmaceutical sales representative experience preferred
- Life-science background is preferred
