Role Objective
Be the single point of contact and responsible person for leading the selection of new products (business cases), regulatory phasing and execution of new launches in the region.
This role will report directly to the Country Manager for CAC and will be the connector of the commercial, medical, regulatory, access and PGS organizations to deliver launch excellence for all new products.
This role also be a key business partner for the local commercial organization in developing and leading key local business development projects.
This role will focus in on Bold Move 2.3 (Bring Medicines to the World Faster) & Bold Move 3.2 (Address the Patient Affordability Challenge) as it helps support breakthroughs that change patient's lives.
Principle Attributes/Responsibilities:
New Launches
- Develop and coordinate the strategic process and business cases to determine new product launch priorities for the country
- Work with RTALs (Regional Therapeutic Leads) to actively review regional category prioritization, and appropriately challenge as needed
- Create country prioritization across categories, and present to Leadership Team
- Ensure cross functional coordination with all required areas (regulatory, legal, supply, marketing, access, public affairs, medical, etc) to guarantee launch excellence for prioritized assets
- Lead Launch Excellence Committee and ensure timely reporting of potential launch delays, their impact and corrective actions
- Identify areas of improvement to accelerate our launches

Business Development
- Lead local business development initiatives, localization initiatives and while supporting business cases with Innovation and Transformation team
- Track all business cases developed in country and monitor time to approval
- Act as a strategic advisor to the Leadership Team
- Contribute in the development of the strategic plan
- Work with Category Leads and Innovation and Transformation team to map and identify business development opportunities
- Prepare business plans for new projects to obtain internal approval
- Interact with all functional areas (manufacturing, regulatory, marketing, finance, commercial and support areas) necessary to prepare the project scope;
- Analyze all aspects of the project, fully understanding the scenarios and their implications for the business;
- Identify and present solutions to optimize the preparation of business plans and maximize project results.
Qualifications for the Role:
Industry knowledge
- Deep understanding of pharmaceutical business and Pfizer's new mission & purpose
- In depth knowledge of the new product planning process and market dynamics in the country
- Understanding of reimbursement process, channel management, regulatory and supply fundamentals
Technical capabilities
- Experience identifying and evaluating business cases
- Business development or strong project management experience
- Broad strategic capabilities (e.g.
strategic planning, innovation and transformation)

**Qualifications**:
- MBA - with Strategy, Consulting, Business development experience (preferred)
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance & Acoounting(Minimum)
- At least seven (5) years of experience in management, marketing, business development or strategic consulting.
- Track record of successfully lead projects as project manager, strategy lead or comparable
