The Sales and Marketing Group (SMG) New Business Governance Specialist is a critical role to provide risk management and governance leadership for SMG at the WW level while partnering closely with stakeholders across SMG, Business Units (BU), Legal, Corporate Accounting and SMG Finance. This role is a key member of the Go-To-Market Operations (GTMO) Finance team reporting to the SMG Risk Management and Governance Controller.

This individual collaborates in the creation of revenue business models and standards for new Intel businesses, as well as co-leading the creation of appropriate governance structures and oversight processes over contracts and deals. Establishes consistent control framework across all regions for non-standard deals and educates stakeholders on the process and corresponding pricing and contract policies.

**The primary responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to**:

- Establishing and consolidating deals and contracts governance oversight process for new Intel businesses (i.e., software, value-based selling, Intel Foundry, others).
- Partnering with GTMO, Finance, Corp Accounting, Legal and other stakeholders to determine appropriate revenue business models, deal structures and standards for new businesses.
- Co-leading new biz governance process/forum with SMG GTMO to ensure non-standard deals/contracts follow the appropriate approval process.
- Educating business partners on policies and guidelines regarding contract management and pricing, variable consideration.
- Establishing, tracking and reporting to SMG and Finance Management the compliance indicators for new business contract and deal governance.
- Managing risk oversight across the regions to identify potential and emerging risks related to contract management and pricing.
- Leading and influencing improvements in controls and governance infrastructure to achieve both controls effectiveness and efficiency.
- Designing and driving remediation solutions for identified risk issues.
- Coordination and alignment with Revenue SOX controls
- Proactive, self-directed, and able to communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Financial analysis and risk management, identify risks and implement mitigation actions.
- Understanding of US GAAP
- Effectively work across organizations and geographies with tolerance for high ambiguity.
- Critical thinking and influencing skills.

**Qualifications**:
**Minimum Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of relevant Finance experience.
- Intermediate to Advance English proficiency.
- Must have unrestricted - permanent right to work in the corresponding location.

**Preferred qualifications**:

- Prior experience in revenue, pricing, deals, or contract management is desired.
- Knowledge of sales and price process guidelines.

**Working Model**:
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. **In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.**
