Network / Systems Engineer
This role has been designated as 'Edge', which means you will primarily work outside of an HPE office.
Aruba is redefining the "IT EDGE".
Creating new customer experiences by building intelligent spaces and digital workspaces.
Supports, troubleshoots and manages switch software technical escalations while maintaining the relationships between multiple involved departments.
Able to fully understand networking designs and deployments to troubleshoots and debug software related issues.
Works with switch software research, test and development teams on solution gaps, customer requirements and troubleshooting issues.
Able to influences hardware and software designs.
**In a typical day as a Network / Systems Engineer you would**:
- Troubleshoot, manage and make technical recommendations to customer deployed networking environments.
- Analyze, design and determines coding, programming, and integration activities required based on general objectives and knowledge of overall architecture of product or solution.
- Lead a project team of other software systems engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high quality solutions.
- Collaborate and communicates with management, internal, and outsourced development partners regarding software systems design status, project progress, and issue resolution.
- Represent the software and product systems engineering team when interfacing with support channels.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to less
- experienced staff members.

- ** Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.

- ** Typically 4-6 years experience in networking**:
- **Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at management levels.

- ** Strong detailed knowledge of networking systems (campus, DC)**:
- ** Experience with storage engineering, wide-area networking, and network virtualization**:
- ** Advanced troubleshooting skills**:
- ** Ability to identify, deploy, and manage complex networking systems**:
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
