Molding Engineer What you will be doing: • Provide assistance to the manufacturing floor and operate daily molding process operations.
• Plan and carry out preventive equipment maintenance activities: scheduled maintenance, supervision of maintenance staff, fault diagnosis and response, creation of maintenance procedures, management of supplier stocks and equipment.
• Develop and improve molding processes for new and existing products.
• Think critically to enhance production efficiency and response time.
• Measure parts, create prototypes, test pieces.
• Support CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action), SCAR (Supplier Corrective Action Report), NCMR (Non-Conforming Material Report), and pFMEA (Potential Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) activities.
• Respond to customer complaints and initiate actions to prevent recurrence of non-conformities related to product, service, processes, or the quality system.
• Perform all work within an ISO 13485-regulated working environment.
• Support equipment and production line validation activities.
• Produce and review product documentation, including manufacturing work instructions, drawings, proposals, and technical reports.
Develop test plans.
• Conduct and/or oversee testing, data collection and analysis, research, and prototyping.
• Experience in 2D and 3D CAD design and drawing using SolidWorks.
• Work under general direction.
• Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
What we expect from you: • Relevant technical degree, such as Mechanical Engineering (ME), Industrial Engineering (IE), Technological Engineering (MET), Electrical Engineering (EE), Physics, or a related field.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineer such as Mechanical Engineering (ME), Industrial Engineering (IE), Technological Engineering (MET), Electrical Engineering (EE), or a related field.
• Familiarity with ISO 13485 requirements (Desirable).
• Experience in 3D modeling using SolidWorks.
• Experience in the installation and validation of molding equipment and associated facilities.
• Experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of molding tools.
• Lean manufacturing experience (Desirable).
• Certifications related to statistics, such as 6 Sigma (Desirable).
• 5 years of related experience.
• Able to plan and supervise workload for up to 6 people.
• Attention to detail and excellent prioritization and organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities with little or no supervision.
• Advanced English.
