**About the role**:
This role necessitates an amalgamation of software engineering and quality assurance expertise, as we operate as a small team that emphasizes multi-functionalism, extreme ownership, and accountability to optimize productivity and output.
**Essential duties and job responsibilities**:
- Employ diverse testing methodologies, including manual and automated testing, to execute testing effectively.
- Manually test the system's new ongoing development while simultaneously creating new automated tests to facilitate automated testing in the future.
- Develop, deploy, maintain, and execute extensive test plans, scenarios, and cases that encompass various test types, such as functional, integration, certification, acceptance, system, regression, smoke, performance, stress, sanity, end-to-end, and load tests.
- Collaborate with developers to guarantee the software development process undergoes an appropriate level of testing.
- Perform and document the outcomes of test runs, both manual and automated, and communicate those results to the engineering team(s) and engineering management for appropriate resolution.
- Ensure compliance with established, best practices for quality assurance policies, processes, and documentation.
- Contribute to the creation of product release notes and overall product documentation.
**Requirements**:
- At least 2 years of experience with Javascript and NodeJS.
- Demonstrate the ability to write SQL queries for the purpose of verifying test cases and data validation and having a comprehensive understanding of cloud-based technologies and platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Excellent communication skills (B2+).
