**About the role**:
**Essential duties and job responsibilities**:
- Analyzes and creates new test cases for new product features based on software requirement specification documents.
- Reviews and refactors proposed test cases based on client and team feedback.
- Executes incremental, integration, end-to-end, regression and/or smoke test cases as needed.
- Presents clear and concise input to ensure a continuous improvement of testing techniques, strategies, and standards.
- Collaborates with Agile team members during planning, grooming, demo/review, and retrospective ceremonies as required to refine estimations, clarify requirements, improve processes, and provides support during the SDLC for all QA related activities.
**Requirements**:
- 3+ years of working experience with Microsoft Test Hub and Feedback (formerly known as Microsoft Test Manager) and Azure DevOps for logging and tracking ALM related artifacts.
Experience using other similar tooling as TFS, Jira or Trello might be considered.
- Experience working with Azure Data Studio and/or SQL Server Management Studio to query Azure SQL Managed Instances and/or MSSQL databases using T-SQL queries.
- Experience conducting API/Restful/WebAPI testing using Postman, SoapUI, Fiddler or similar tools.
- Good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
**Is considered a plus**:
- ISTQB: Certified Tester Foundation Level in Software Testing or greater certification.
- Experience using SQL Profiler or similar tooling to trace SQL statement execution.
- Hands-on experience coding C# automated tests using Selenium WebDriver framework.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate or Microsoft Certified Professional MCSA Web Applications.
