Mid Data Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Mid Data Engineer to work with product teams to develop pipelines to ingest data into a central data platform.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

- Work with local product teams to design optimal solutions to ingest large, complex data sets that meet business requirements.
- Work with our central platform team to ensure solutions effectively leverage our best practices and frameworks.
- Ensure data is ingested and stored securely meeting all regulatory requirements.
- Create data pipelines using AWS Glue, Snowflake, & Streamsets.
- Perform unit testing.
- Keep our data separated and secure across national boundaries through multiple data centers and AWS regions.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

- Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer.
- Experience designing data pipelines using a framework (i.e. reusable code rather than one off ETL jobs).
- Experience creating data pipelines in AWS using Glue.
- Experience with Snowflake.
- Effective at communicating with people of different levels of technical understanding.
- Experience with Informatica Cloud.
- Experience with AWS Data Migration Services.
- Experience with StreamSets.
- Experience in the medical device industry.
- Effective communication with technical and non-technical people.
- Advanced English.
