Mid Data Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Mid Data Engineer to work with product teams to develop pipelines to ingest data into a central data platform.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:- Work with local product teams to design optimal solutions to ingest large, complex data sets that meet business requirements.- Work with our central platform team to ensure solutions effectively leverage our best practices and frameworks.- Ensure data is ingested and stored securely meeting all regulatory requirements.- Create data pipelines using AWS Glue, Snowflake, & Streamsets.- Perform unit testing.- Keep our data separated and secure across national boundaries through multiple data centers and AWS regions.WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:- Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or related field.- 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer.- Experience designing data pipelines using a framework (i.e. reusable code rather than one off ETL jobs).- Experience creating data pipelines in AWS using Glue.- Experience with Snowflake.- Effective at communicating with people of different levels of technical understanding.- Experience with Informatica Cloud.- Experience with AWS Data Migration Services.- Experience with StreamSets.- Experience in the medical device industry.- Effective communication with technical and non-technical people.- Advanced English.
