**Responsabilities**:
- Implement simple, high-performance, secure, and fail-safe algorithms.
- Designed, programmed, and supervised computer systems in all domain areas.
- Use technologies and tools according to the project requirements.
- Improve the performance, security, and stability of your project.
- Proposing computational improvements in the projects is part of the process.
- Estimate and provide timely follow-up to assigned tasks or projects.
- Be a technological reference within the projects and in the work team.
- Seek continuous improvement in all assigned tasks, procedures, and responsibilities.
**Requirements**:
- This person must reside in Costa Rica.
- Advanced English.
- 5+ years of professional experience as an engineer shipping production software.
- You have up-to-date knowledge of Airflow and AWS (ETL services)
- You have built REST and GraphQL (Apollo) APIs with Node.js and Express for software currently in production.
- You are comfortable with AWS and feel like you could maintain an AWS environment consisting of the following: Lambda, API Gateway. CloudWatch. CloudFront. IaC (CloudFormation/SAM). DynamoDB. RDS (Postgres).
- You understand when and why relational databases and NoSQL databases are used.
- You feel comfortable working with either and understand indexing and efficient query writing.
- CI/CD pipeline building, maintenance, and optimization.
- You feel comfortable maintaining and optimizing a pipeline for more efficient deployment to a serverless AWS environment.
