The Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for providing management with an analysis and insight of Citi's financial results in coordination with the broader Finance team.
The overall objective is to utilize specialty knowledge to create reports/analyses that gauge Citi's alignment with forecasted performance.
**Responsibilities**:
- Support operating model with international FP&A teams to smoothly migrate activities into the site
- Develop analytical support working with local FP&A teams and their business partners
- Makes decisions and recommendations based on the analysis and metrics.
- Applies specialized knowledge in analyzing and/or evaluating processes and data
- Research and interprets information.
- Identify inconsistencies in data or results.
- Work on Ad-hoc requests based on the business necessities.
Specific activities include:
- o Contribute to the analysis of key management review decks for Regions & Products
- Support monthly and quarterly analytical insights.
Focus will be addressing ad hoc strategic issues that are complementary to regular Planning and Analysis processes.
- Development of materials for review with Business
- Participation in forward looking activities including annual budgeting and monthly estimate process
**Qualifications**:
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Industrial Engineer or a related field with at least
- 3-6 years of experience
- Understanding of Banking & Finance products and markets is preferable but not essential
- Basic financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models
- Bilingual: English and Spanish.
Portuguese is a plus
- Intermediate MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.
VBA, Power BI and Tableau knowledge is a plus
