**We are searching for the best talent for Communication Specialist to be in San Jose, Costa Rica**
**Purpose**:
The MedTech Costa Rica Supply Chain Communications Specialist will be responsible for establishing, developing, and growing J&J MedTech's reputation across the market and strengthening its internal and external positioning among stakeholders. This person will also be responsible for all site communications leading up to and after the opening our of MedTech Costa Rica Campus.
This person will work in close partnership with the Global and Business Unit Supply Chain Communications Team on an overall MedTech Supply Chain communications strategy that supports our MedTech and J&J business priorities.
**You will be responsible for**:
Business and influence network
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to develop a local engagement campaign designed to recruit top talent, build brand awareness, and facilitate engagement with the community and government.
- Collaborate closely with the MedTech Supply Chain communication team to ensure consistency and linkage of plans and messages to the Supply Chain strategy and priorities in Costa Rica, and between leaders and site employees.
- Identify internal and external opportunities to elevate the J&J MedTech Supply Chain Narrative in Costa Rica.
Communications Plans / Content Creation
- Develop and deploy change management and communications strategy for employees and external stakeholders.
- Develop the narrative and core messaging for J&J MedTech in Costa Rica.
- Ensure brand recognition among Costa Rican talent community
- Ensure alignment and validation of core messaging at the MedTech and enterprise level.
- Drive culture and values across internal and external activities.
- Safeguard J&J Brand use and execution throughout the construction, establishment, and business operation.
- Support and guide talent acquisition strategy related to communications and employer brand.
- Manage all site-based communications planning and strategy.
Issues Management / Network Transformation
- Manage crisis and reputational issues during construction and the establishment of our company in the country.
- Develop a thoughtful stakeholder analysis to manage risks and prepare communications strategies accordingly.
- Implement a communication plan in Costa Rica aligning with local stakeholders, media outlets, academy and educational centers, industry associations and government officials.
**Qualifications**:
- Required Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in communications or a related field.
- Required Years of Related Experience: 5-7 years of experience in communications
- Other: Prior communication and healthcare experience preferred.
- This person must be able to manage multiple projects concurrently by demonstrating a strong ability to prioritize across numerous 'critical' initiatives.
- Ability to provide strategic communications council.
- Strong knowledge of the local Costa Rica market.
- Ability to manage multiple global stakeholders.
- Superior writing, editing, and oral presentation skills.
- High-level visual communication skill (including presentation development).
- Understanding of public perceptions as well as new media/communications approaches.
- Creativity in developing options and solutions.
- Experience and/or willingness to plan and operate townhall meetings in onsite, online, and hybrid format.
