Material and Distribution Analyst**BCforward is currently seeking highly motivated Materials and Distribution Analyst****Title**:**Material and Distribution Analyst****Location: San Jose, CA****Duration: 12+ months contract with strong possibility of extension****Job Type: Contract*******Responsibilities**:- Accountable for development, planning, execution, and management of various activities related to materials and inventory control for materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.- Examples include logistics coordination, shipping/receiving, distribution, storage of materials and cycle counting programs.- Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, at the non-exempt level, inspection; order fulfilment; shipping; kitting; movement of materials; ensuring physical inventory and maintaining designated inventory records using various material tracking systems; and scheduling work for designated areas of operations, compiling data for reports; and statistical analysis.**Intermediate**:- Works on problems/projects of moderately complex scope.- Exercises independent judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action.- Acts as an informed team member providing analysis of information and limited project direction input.
