SmileDirectClub is looking for a Salesforce Architect to join our growing Marketing Automation team!
The Architect will help lead, design and support SmileDirectClub's Marketing Automation front-end and back-end operations.
**Responsibilities**:
- Be responsible for driving the day-to-day operations of a Salesforce Marketing Cloud development team
- Collaborating with our product team, distill business problems into viable, long-standing technology solutions by:
- Generating technical requirements
- Design solution documents
- Ensure code quality through peer review and unit testing
- Leading iterative deployments
- Provide operational support to the business.
- Mentor junior developers on the team.
- Work on simultaneous tasks, prioritizing to maximize productivity.
- Be a self-starter with effective communication skills.
- Balance individual contribution with leading a collaborative team.
- Tackle problems outside your core competencies to learn new technologies (as needed)
- Expertise in agile development process
- Lead the development of scalable and efficient processes
- Ensure every customer receives the right personalized & dynamic communication at the right time
- Develop, maintain and monitor CloudPages and dependent automations
- Take a leadership role in the creation and maintenance of documentation for processes and procedures
- Using monitoring systems & smart architecture, achieve a 99%+ accuracy & up-time in automated CRM communications
- Maintain and improve core automations and new integrations within Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Manage CRM customer data architecture & data activation to enable team to build segments & personalize communications as needed
- Lead and improve the technical implementation of communications across all channels within Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Responsible for Environment Governance for Marketing Cloud
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud development.
- 5+ years of expert HTML & CSS coding experience
- 5+ years of experience with reading/writing T-SQL queries at an expert level
- 5+ years of experience with reading/writing SSJS at an expert level
- 5+ years of experience with APIs (REST,SOAP), jQuery, and AJAX
- Expert understanding of AmpScript and developing dynamic content
- Expert level attention to detail
- Proven background in software implementation & technical troubleshooting
- A self-starter personality that can thrive in the fast-paced environment of a rapidly growing company.
Ability to work well in high-pressure, short-deadline situations.
- Solid work ethic, with the ability to pick up new tasks quickly
- Positive attitude, and flexible personality
- Expert communication skills and collaborative spirit
- Understanding of event-based architecture (domain driven design)
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraforming)
