The Market Planning Hub North America (NA) Cluster Lead has full accountability for leading the NA team as a center of excellence for supply chain management to support the US and Canadian markets.
The Hub enables PBG revenue commitments to be met through an effective and proactive management of supply risks and opportunities, as well as optimal market inventory levels.
North America is comprised of the US and Canada markets consisting of two separate regulatory agencies.
The NA Cluster Lead is accountable for the supply planning processes of ~ 270 brands, ~1,500 SKUs, ~ 70 suppliers, and ~ 108 million units.
Key process accountabilities for the role include:
Supply assurance: Regional interfaces with Markets, PGS manufacturing sites, External Supply, and Intercompany Operations to ensure they deliver product in accordance to supply chain agreements Product change management (PCM): Supply continuity throughout product lifecycle, including and changes related to its source, formulation, artworks, legal entity, etc.
Key participant for new launches in the market.
Inventory optimization: Finished good market inventory optimization, aligned with global and regional targets

Organizational capability development: Human and technological capability development to continuously improve Market Planning Hub performance

Innovation: Promotion of innovative ideas/processes across Market Planning Hub operations

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Supply assurance- Execute standard "best in class" supply assurance processes and drive excellence in their execution- Ensure excellence in day-to-day interfaces with all key functions across PGS including GSC, Pfizer Global Supply (PGS) manufacturing sites, External Supply, Intercompany Operations, Deployment, and local Logistics operations to ensure continuously improving supply chain performance- Closely monitor supply performance against agreed targets and take action to pro-actively correct gaps- Ensure timely escalation assessment of root cause, and issue resolution for key supply issues- Serve as region's representative in global / regional forums to provide input and share expertise on supply related topics- Work in close collaboration with sourcing sites to optimize Plant-to-AMP S&OP to effectively monitor and drive performance- Deliver value-added supply visibility to GSC market teams to support Market S&OP process and Operational Review Meetings, flagging key events and supply constraints by exception- Engage with GSC market teams to understand how to improve the support and value-added service from the Market Planning Hub

Inventory optimization- Execute inventory strategies consistently to meet service levels- Drive relentless focus on market inventory optimization in accordance with agreed target and working capital goals- Ensure inventory obsolescence risks are pro-actively identified, and risks mitigated through close collaboration with GSC in-market teams and sourcing sites

Product change management- Ensure robust and seamless management of PCM activities requiring supply input (e.g., new launches, line extensions, artwork changes, discontinuations, loss of exclusivity, PNS)- Build partnership and close collaboration with markets, supply sites and other functional stakeholders- Ensure adoption and continued improvement of standard processes and PCM systems

Organizational capability development- Manage NA Cluster team to create a "best-in-class" center of excellence for supply chain management- Build key supply chain capabilities (e.g., Supply and Inventory Planning, PCM, Plant-to-Hub)- Deploy NA Cluster team resources effective and efficiently to meet the needs of markets and sourcing sites, based on the relative Market / BU complexity and portfolio- Ensure optimal adoption of tools and systems in alignment with global AMP standard supply processes- In collaboration with Americas Enabling Services team, implement and embed a comprehensive analytics and management reporting suite, within a robust calendarized framework, both for routine and ad-hoc reports, to support the daily/weekly/monthly processes at Regional and Market level- Elevate colleague engagement and promote an ownership culture, creating an environment in which every colleague functions as if he/she truly owns our purpose- Partner and network with other Market Planning Clusters and Enabling team to share knowledge, leverage expertise, replicate best practices to continuously improve supply operations- Manage NA Cluster team administration responsibilities and Operational Expenses budget
