Market Analyst - Evaluated Pricing Operations

Refinitiv Evaluated Pricing Service is an independent, global evaluated pricing source covering over 2.7 million fixed income securities and derivatives.
Coverage spans all major financial markets and prices are available at multiple times daily.
Our evaluated prices, which provide detailed transparency and market insight, are designed to support asset managers, custodian banks, mutual funds, investment banks, accounting firms, and financial research providers.
Market Analyst - Evaluated Pricing Operations

The Market Analyst in Refinitiv Evaluated Pricing Service is responsible for fixed income and derivative evaluation support and customer service.
Evaluations are used by banks, brokerage houses, insurance companies, and asset managers for client statements, research, risk analysis, and portfolio value.
**Responsibilities**:
Day to day responsibilities include pricing production activities and query case management.
Pricing production involves the assessment and validation of market color, creation and maintenance of money market and credit default swap curves (CDS), client file creation, mortgage-backed benchmark pricing, and new issuance research.
The analyst will also research all queries submitted by customers including coverage and quality requests.
The analyst will have prior experience in finance and customer service.
Strong passion for capital markets and understanding of bond mathematics are key for the role.
Responsibilities include;
Judgmental
- Asses and validate market color
- Determine the right pricing method for a portfolio of bonds based on its characteristics
- Provide and follow through on process improvement or automaton ideas
- Help manage market data operations

Pricing Production
- Help determine the fair value for fixed income and derivatives securities using our proprietary tools and methodologies
- Meet the deadlines of the production schedule
- Comply with our controls and procedures
- Research new issues to help determine its fair value
- Help train new team members

Customer Service
- Handle pre-sales requests relating to the pricing of sovereign, corporate, asset-backed, and Municipal fixed income securities
- Query case management of individual client price challenges and coverage requests
- Customer service research projects and reports

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, actuarial sciences or engineering
- 2 years of relevant (i.e.
capital markets) experience and 3 years of total experience
- Programming skills with e.g.
Python, VBA and/or SQL
- Passion for capital markets
- Excellent communication, writing, and training skills
- Customer service experience
- The ability to work with large amounts of data in spreadsheets
- Fluent in English
- Desired Skills: Familiarity with case management software
