**Responsibilities**
- Lead process and validations of part numbers, raw materials, equipment, etc.
(i.e.
IQ, OQ, PQ).
- Lead or participate in cost reduction projects, such as: scrap reduction, flow improvement, inventory reduction, cycle time reduction, etc.
- Monitor manufacturing process activities, measure important process characteristics and analyze variation in order to detect and reduce waste from new products or processes being introduced.
- Analyze and provide information for decision making related to the outcome of key indicators when delivering a process or product to manufacturing.
- Lead or participate in the introduction of new part numbers to an existing technology platform or process.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team activities for the solution of product quality related problems (e.g.
NCMR's, CARS, SCARS, CAPA's) through the use of problem solving techniques and tools (5 Why, 6 hats, DMAIC, Ishikawa).
- Other functions related to the manufacturing process.
- Perform project scheduling, follow up, meet with the different members of the Core Team, customers and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with medical industry regulations.
- Responsible for cost effective costing of new product based on yield and material usage (BOM and consumables).
- Effectively train operating personnel to perform validations and to deliver the product or process to manufacturing.
- Writing or modifying process instructions.
Education and Experience
- 2 years of experience in medical industry with knowledge in material/process/equipment validation or production line support.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical, Electromechanical, or any other engineering related to the position.
- Fluent in English 80% written and conversational.
- Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, CQE, Solidworks is desirable.
