Riverpoint Medical in Costa Rica is looking to hire a **Manufacturing Engineer.** At Riverpoint you will be part of the process that brings great technology to Medical and Veterinary markets. We specialize in the design and manufacturing of premium medical devices. Our ingenuity can be found in our suture technologies, sports medicine fibers and anchors, surgical lighting, and special needle technologies. As the **Manufacturing Engineer**, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing our manufacturing processes to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency. ** Duties and Responsibilities for the position include**:- Develop, implement, and continuously improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.- ProRvide daily production support to set up, trouble shoot, repair, and monitor released manufacturing processes.- Collaborate with new product development teams to introduce new equipment, processes, and launch new products into production. Follow appropriate quality system requirements for new equipment introductions including IQ/OQ/PQ.- Maintain accurate records of processes, procedures, and performance metrics. Generate reports for management review.- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.- Support process-related projects from initiation to completion, ensuring project goals are met on time and within budget.**Education and Qualifications**- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering preferred).- 5 - 7 years' experience in process engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment- Proficiency in process optimization techniques, such as Lean Six Sigma.- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards.- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.- Experience working in a cleanroom environment- Experience with sterilization- Experience with statistical analysis of data (Ex.
