**Job Title**: Manufacturing Engineer Assistant
**Main Purpose of Job**: (Brief Summary)
- The individual in this position shall work with Manufacturing, Quality, Production, Administrative and
Technical personnel of the campus to gather and provide information required by Engineering as required
to ensure the achievement of expected quality levels, customer satisfaction & financial goals.
- Provide Quality Engineering/Quality Systems Engineering support to improvement of the quality system and
compliance in order to ensure the development and production of Class I, II and III (as applicable) Medical
Devices.
Main Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Drafts for IQ/OQ/PQ/PPQ/ protocols & reports and associated technical documents such as safety,maintenance & calibration guidelines plus engineering reports, under the guidance of a Manufacturing Engineer.
- Supports in the development of manufacturing process technical documentation such as Bill of Materials,
Manufacturing Work Instructions, Operating Procedures (i.e. labeling) and Device Master Records, among others.
- Recommends new tools and methodologies including costing and cost estimates for design or product process changes.
- Design & Develop equipment & fixtures to support new product launch processes.
Knowledge / Education
Advanced studies in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Electrical/Electronic, Materials Engineering, Science
or similar with less than two years pending to graduate from a University recognized by Conare in Costa Rica or from an equivalent registration entity from other country.
- Intermediate level in English.
Process Capability Studies).
- Intermediate to advance knowledge of Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
- Basic knowledge of business systems such as: MRP and Documents Control Systems (i.e. QAD, Master
Control, SAP, etc.)
- Knowledge on ISO 13485:2016 and CFR 820 CGMPs
- Eagle, Label Vision or other label printing software (preferred)
- Desirable: ACAD, Solidworks, Minitab, Project.
