**Job Overview**
Excellent understanding of product functionality and the manufacturing processes for multiple product lines.
Monitors and improves line yields, cycle times, and costs. Resolves production issues. Competent at implementing lean manufacturing processes.
Leads process and equipment validations and qualifications.
Investigate new suppliers and collaborates to develop new material or equipment needs.
Supports the creation and execution of assigned project plans.
Collaborates in preparation of cost analysis for new product expenditures. Adheres to finalized budgets.
Investigates and proposes action plans in (FMEA) and root cause analysis.
Performs as core team member on cross functional teams. May participate in external project; collaborate with external entities for product/material/process improvement.
**Responsibilities**
- Executes process technology development activities
- Executes Software Validation Strategy
- Creates and revises Manufacturing documentation
- Installs equipment and supports ramp-up of the process at the site
- Identifies and executes improvements in manufacturing processes, tools and equipment.
- Leads and implements cost reduction improvements
- Applies lean manufacturing principles
- Obtains and installs equipment at the site
- Executes the processes and standards with embedded quality into the way of working including adherence to compliance with safety
- Provides technical support for the design, evaluation and implementation of improvements on current and new production and administrative processes
- May lead one or more process or maintenance technicians"
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 3 years related experience
- Intermediate/advanced English a must
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science strongly preferred
- Manufacturing Medical device industry experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word), experience with Visio, Project, SPC software, CAD (creation and interpretation) preferred
- Proficient with additional software packages as required
