**How will you make an impact?**
This role is responsible for identifying, assessing, and reporting, initiatives to reduce risks within our supply base across categories, which include direct material categories, external manufacturing, and indirect categories. Track potential risks to supply, develop risk alerts based on the severity of risks, and prioritize to mitigate risks. When needed set up and lead crisis team if a significant risk arises. In collaboration with teams across the organization, works towards driving the mitigating actions. Own and continually update the Crisis Command Playbook.
Operates as a supplier risk SME within the procurement team and across a global network of groups, divisions, categories and sites. Own the roadmap of the Supplier Risk program, assess standards outlined in our program, policies, processes, and workflows, as well as technology effectiveness. Review for trends in supplier risk and continually optimize the approach to risk management.

**Scale of Responsibilities**
- Responsible for supporting the Global Procurement Supplier-Risk Program.Own and lead supplier risk databases, and drive adoption of digital tools to sustain supplier risk sensing ability. Work with the external partners of the tools to continually improve tool capabilities.
- Conduct supply risk assessments for suppliers across comprehensive risk indicators including strategic, financial, geopolitical, capacity, supply and logistics, cybersecurity, and compliance etc.
- Develop, coordinate, and lead in-depth supplier risk assessments including evaluating results, reporting findings, and leading corrective or management action plans. Work with cross-functional collaborators to develop predictive risk management practices and deploy for procurement scope.
- Conduct source risk assessment and mitigation plan at product levels continually improving the coverage of the risk program across the product portfolio of the organization. Support developing and implementing risk mitigation plans for short-term, medium, and long-term
- Collaborate with teams to embed risk management solutions into sourcing strategies, supplier relationship management and contracting activities.
- Identifies key risks and the impact of those risks on the organization and leads scenario planning to define effective risk mitigation strategies. Performs analysis to assess risk implications and work with collaborators to implement potential mitigation options.
- Implements effective communication plans and delivers critical leadership updates.
- Responsible for leading, keeping up with industry standard methodologies, and leading programs or projects to successful delivery, including establishing the overall direction, coordination, execution, implementation, and reporting. Track industry trends and developments participate in panel discussions, share insights and leading practices. Develop and deliver training.
- Conscious of timelines, and quickly adapt to shifting priorities and demands.
**Leadership Responsibilities**
- Able to build productive working relationships across global teams; internal cross-functional, geographically distributed teams and external suppliers.
- Lead discussions with varying levels of leadership and ability to collaborate influence, empower and align people across a broad variety of job functions.
- Progressive yet practical approach to supplier risk management, focused on unlocking value and improving the program, and continually evolving the roadmap.
- Proficient in providing insights as the lead of the program
**How will you get here?**
- Bachelors and/or Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or Science. MBA desirable.
- Certification in Project Management is desirable, experience preferred.
- Seven plus years global programs and project initiatives in the procurement function
- Two plus years experience with internal & third-party risk programs
- Life Sciences, BioTech, or Pharma industry preferred
- Experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Sourcing, Category Management preferred
**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities**
- Experience leading projects/programs associated with supplier risk.
- Ability to make recommendations, strategy development and deliver assigned projects
