**Your role at Baxter**:
Manager, Procurement is responsible for development and execution of market leading sourcing strategies for the External Contract Manufacturers (ECM)
- Third Party Finished goods category (TPFG). Provide leadership, critical thinking and expertise on TPFG categories dedicated to Baxter Global Business Units (GBUs). #Thisiswhere your insights inspire change.

The ECM-TPFG organization has the responsibility and privilege of translating the needs into relevant, practical and useful strategies in a dynamic market. You will find on your team outstanding analytical, organization, and project management skills.
**What you'll be doing**:
- Develop, lead, and maintain an in-depth global market knowledge of assigned commodities/ supplier technologies, manufacturing processes, and related industries: including cost drivers, global execution, to leverage across multiple manufacturing locations, and to understand specific supply issues.
- Act as a resource to operations teams, and others, using procurement knowledge.
- Responsible for definition and implementation of assigned commodity strategy based on knowledge of regional markets, suppliers, and plants.
- Build cost saving opportunities through driven bidding, supplier development, continuous improvements, transfer office, etc.
- Perform as a change agent to improve and supervise suppliers' performance through continuous improvements activities.
- Establish service levels and jointly work with relevant customers to measure and supervise supplier's performance. Maintain and review supplier performance to ensure conformance to supplier management goals (cost, quality, service, delivery) Ensure timely resolution of all disputes.
- Negotiate purchase price, contract terms and conditions to deliver on spend cover by contracts.
- Work with critical suppliers to improve current performance and develop new opportunities.
- Support of business objectives for cycle/response time, quality assurance, technology/new product development, risk mitigation, and total cost.
**What you'll bring**:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Master´s preferred.
- Minimum 15 years experience required in negotiations, contract, and supplier management
- Experience in strategic Sourcing
- Successful experience in a matrix organization
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to communicate and manage suppliers in US
- Proficiency in MS Office.
