We are recruiting for a talented and self-motivated individual to balance ownership of key Privacy & Data Governance (PDG) processes and programs while rolling-up sleeves to advance day-to-day responsibilities.
This position will play a critical role in advancing the operational maturity of several PDG programs and practices.
Generally, daily activities will include but are not limited to, managing data retention compliance initiatives, administration and maintenance of PDG systems, documenting requirements and user stories, developing and assessing controls, creating resources, reporting and data analytics, conducting data assessments and remediation, special projects, and generally guiding the PDG team on various technology related projects and opportunities.
In addition, your strong business analysis skills will be regularly utilized to evaluate new systems, construct process flows, advise and validate on implementation of business and technical requirements, assess policy and compliance efficacy, and scale our program to keep pace with Western Union's continued growth and innovation.
You will also support the enforcement of our global privacy program across various areas and foster a culture of privacy and data governance by advocating privacy-by-design.
You will use your exceptional management and organizational skills to project manage short and long-term projects and partner effectively with cross-functional project teams.
Previous experience with lean and agile working methodologies is also desirable.
