Summary
DHL is hiring a Manager of Department for its Costa Rica office.
In this role, you will be Managing Application Support teams that provide support for Express Commercial Services covering both the Electronic Shipping Solutions, Customer Service and Sales areas.
You will Direct, lead and motivate the Support Teams, including recruitment, retention, monitoring performance, people development, management and optimizing productivity.
- Implement consistent structure, roles, performance targets and goals
- Follow the culture for Support that routinely establishes and monitors Key Performance Indicators
- Manage the allocation of appropriate resources and commitment of staff to the achievement of the ITS and Business objectives and targets
- Provide clear direction and performance standards across the team
- Ensure development of people through a comprehensive training plan for direct reports and subordinates.
- Provide for periodic team building and Leadership exercises and activities.
You will be the driver for complex technical solutions.
Additionally, you will effectively manage maximum availability and minimize disruption to the mission critical ESS and CS services and ensure that all agreed targets, SLA's and Metrics are met.
Additional skills and responsibilities include:
Excellent communicator; who displays good potential or actual team leadership skills.-
- Must display evidence of customer centricity as a prerequisite for this post, plus the ability to work with mínimal supervision in a fast paced environment.
Excellent understanding of IT infrastructure- Fluent English (written and spoken) required
