**Job Description**:
Under the direction of the Global Data Operations (GDOs) Management, the Manager is responsible for leading part of the Data Management Center (DMC) operation. Ensures the consistent execution of quality global procedures and manages workload and resource allocation. Promotes and supports the comprehensive development of supervised staff. Encourages effective interaction of DMC staff with business partners to achieve common objectives.
**Primary activities include, but are not limited to**:
- Develops career plans for direct reports, makes work assignments, conducts periodic skill assessments as well as annual performance appraisals, coaches for performance, provides ongoing feedback on performance, provides rewards and recognition, and sets priorities.
- Provides developmental opportunities for associates, including challenging growth assignments. Develops career development strategies and prepares promotion recommendations. Ensures employees receive appropriate training and mentoring to be successful in their assignments.
- Maximizes staff effectiveness by working with direct reports to ensure a realistic workload that supports value-added work and work-life balance, estimating length and difficulty of tasks and projects, anticipating, and adjusting for obstacles and setbacks, and elevating complex issues to the appropriate management level.
- Increases functional effectiveness by supporting departmental efforts to simplify and standardize procedures to the greatest extent possible, sharing best practices and leading continuous improvement efforts.
**Other Activities**:
- Assume GDO Manager Business Excellence Network (BEN) responsibilities in the DMC for specific professional or business activity, such as process compliance, training, quality, metrics, resource and capacity management, records management, inspection support, etc. May be asked to Lead the team to achieve the business goals.
- Conducts management and functional area meetings, contributing expertise, when necessary, through formal or informal presentations.
- Keeps abreast of process and technology changes both within and outside of the company that may impact staff.
- May participate in initiatives beyond their department (e.g. cross-functional, cross-divisional projects, cross-industry initiatives, etc.).
- May support any other project or perform any other data management task deemed appropriate by management.
**Requirements**:
- At least 5-year experience in data management
- At least 2-year experience managing people and/or leading teams.
- Demonstrated project management, decision making and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced English: ability to communicate with both the technical and business areas and speak-up with courage and candor.
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- Self-motivated, independent Positive Attitude and motivational towards others.
