ROLE SUMMARY
Functional SAP Subject Matter Expert for the ES Supply Chain organization in particular for Master Data setup & ES Supply Chain-specific capabilities / functionalities. Focal point for functional matters related to SAP and represent ES Supply Chain, as required, to internal and external stakeholders.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the ES Supply Chain with the resolution of product or process issues. Connect with the ERP Solutions teams: Analyze and define solutions, draft change requests and follow up on development, testing and implementation.
Inform the ES Supply Chain teams of the impact of ERP changes and implementations
Identify, develop, present and defend the business case for ES SC strategic supply chain projects and programs which will improve the overall performance of the ES supply chain function
Provide "hands on" support related to setting up of master data in SAP ECC and APO to enable complex supply chains.
Assist in the development and implementation of standard ES global supply chain practices across the ES network
Provide in-direct oversight to ES supply chain managers and specialists to ensure harmonized practices are in place and group performance objectives are being met. And support initiatives to improve ERP knowledge in the ES Supply Chain community.
Master-data management and Data Integrity: Manage master-data set ups and controls to ensure consistent and reliable system performance.
Training: Execute training for the Supply Chain Systems used in External Supply.
In collaboration with ERP Solutions /ERP Deployment Teams, manage ES SAP Deployments and subsequent Go-Live, providing SME training, ensuring user adoption and user compliance post Go-Live
Strategic thinker: co-define Business Intelligence - BOBJ reports / Tableau reports with the Supply Chain teams that improve efficiency and effectiveness of SAP and the surrounding systems.
Proficient user of SAP Business Intelligence / Tableau reports
Lead key Supply Chain projects for External Supply and ensure governance process for the stakeholders
Prepare and make presentations to upper management to report on projects, achievements, business cases.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Operations management, engineering and or supply chain required; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in SAP ECC/ SAP APO, Supply Chain / Materials Management, operations management or Commercial Operations in the pharmaceutical industry. Broad understanding of the supply chain environment. Strong, demonstrated project management experience required, supply chain or project management certifications preferred (CPIM, CSCP, PMP, etc). Demonstrated ability to manage large scale strategic projects.
- Ability to work in a complex matrix organization with strong team work orientation required. Ability to work effectively in an environment of competing priorities, ambiguity and deadlines. Proven experience in providing innovative solutions to unusually complex projects while managing colleagues across multiple time-zones / geographies / cultures.
- Basic understanding of SAP ECC Supply Chain processes, transactions and master data.
- Must have demonstrated consultative, influencing, analytical, strategic thinking/planning, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills, and presentation, business analysis, PC, and project management skills are required. Ability to interact, build effective relationships, and influence others is necessary.
- Demonstrated understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, and the major strategic productivity challenges facing the industry.
- Travel requirements (international/domestic) ~10%
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Understanding of Virtual Site environment, Pfizer supply chain, financial and physical legal entity structures and transactional processing.
- Experience and strong skillset with Advanced Planning Systems, SAP functionality and processes, Business Intelligence systems and master data management.
- SAP ECC, SAP APO, Kinaxis Rapid Response and/or SAP SNC/SCC Experience preferred
- Proven analytical skills, including technical skills with Business Intelligence platforms (e.g., SAP BI/BOBJ, Tableau) preferred.
