**About the Role**
In this opportunity as a **Manager, Accounting** you will:
- Manage Controllership responsibilities in support of our Customer Segments.
- Ensure continuous process improvement.
- Maintain open communication channels with our partners such as General Accounting, Global Payroll, Compliance, Indirect Tax, AP, Collection, HR and others who are involved in the AO process to ensure expectations are clarified and updated.
- Examine accounts reports and assist management in decision analyzing.
- Review account books and balance sheets.
- Generates ideas of improvement & standardization and achieves those with the help from other management.
- Takes responsibility for staff development & engagement, and guides and mentors team members in process deliverables.
- Manage time, materials, and/or equipment to achieve weekly or monthly goals.
**About You**
You're a fit for the role if your background includes:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required, OR equivalent qualification Or substantial professional development after High School Degree.
- At least 5 years of professional accounting experience with multi-national companies.
- Knowledge of common accounting procedures.
- Effective written, verbal and interpersonal skills with a competence in presenting in a professional and influential manner.
- Attention to fine detail and demonstrate high-level of accuracy.
- Enterprise resource planning ERP software — for example, SAP, Oracle, BEx, BlackLine.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
- Proficiency in English.
- Strong collaboration skills and effective in a team environment; proven ability to effectively transfer knowledge to build team competence.
- Highly responsive and committed to results with a strong customer orientation.
