Tech Analyst for Global Batch Management Services (GBMS) will be to provide second-level Enterprise Scheduling and TTS CASH Product support within the CTI Global Production Operations Group.
This includes Job Scheduling, Report Management, Report On Demand, and updating and troubleshooting critical matters in the LTP, across all regions.
The overall objective is to use infrastructure technology knowledge and identified policies to process data, resolve issues, execute administrative tasks and deliver superior quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
- To act as the 2nd level of contact for advanced incidents and will be the primary client interface for strategic tools support and responsible for tools administration of batch scheduling, maintaining batch workloads and OCM user and report definitions.
- You will be a member of the multi-disciplinary team that supports all Citi lines of businesses for services like User Acceptance Testing, Production Job Scheduling, Storage and Archival of statements and reports, File Transmissions.
- Provide 24*7 follow the sun support for critical production problems on batch scheduling, reports and file transfer services.
- You will provide service quality metrics by building data collections reporting scripts, and create analytics to improve operations.
You will create technical support documents and Global Process Control Manuals.
This includes local administration of internal SHAREPOINT websites.

- Develop partnerships with customers, handle expectations and customer concerns
- Communicate and carry out compliance to the policies, standards, procedures to users in handling change requests
- Drive transformation/lean projects that will optimize business operations and improve current process efficiency and effectiveness
- Assist External Clients and Internal Partners on critical file Transmissions, addressing potential failures and concerns in a timely manner and ensuring all parties are kept apprised of resolution status.

Knowledge/Experience:
- Familiarity with batch scheduling, JCL language, TSO, and ISPF interfaces as well as file transfer and report archival concepts and practices.
- Understanding of LPARs, z/OS, z/TPF, z/VM technologies and TWS/z
- Familiarity with SFTP and NDM Transmission Protocols
- A sound history of building good teamwork with customers and strong customer focus
- Confidence and previous experience of representing the needs of their group and presenting to Senior Management
- Capability to absorb and understand technical information and demonstrates good judgment and "business sense" in choosing alternatives and making final decisions
- Accurately anticipates and identifies problems/issues and resolves possible causes, generates and carries out solutions
- Excellent customer and team management skills
- Ability to influence the decision of Senior Management to deliver improved services for our customers

- Hands on experience with LPARs, z/OS, TWS/z and maintaining and protecting batch workloads.
- Adequate knowledge of current plan concepts, LTP, Loops, Predecessor and Successor Jobs, CRITS and OnDemand Jobs is a plus
- Platforms, Oracle relational DB, Sybase
