Huntsman is seeking a Logistics & Process Support Analyst (Temporary role) supporting the Advanced Materials Division located in San Jose, Costa Rica. This position will report to the Inventory and Logistics Manager.

Job Scope

The primary purpose of this position is to support the Supply Chain Manager & Director, manage all areas of the Advanced Materials Americas Logistics and provide in depth freight analysis. This position will also provide system support in OBIEE and SAP.

As the Logistics & Process Support Analyst you will:

- Provide logistics/administrative support for plant, shipping warehouses, Customer Service and Purchasing groups.
- Provide logistics support for the following: carrier analysis, optimization, cost reconciliation, reporting, freight claims and freight disputes.
- Manage Operation carrier relationships and carrier performance. Responsible for obtaining freight quotes as required by the business.
- Identify and deliver freight saving with carriers and divisional team. Complete all reporting for the division on freight cost and revenue recognition.
- Assume first line support regarding Customer Service freight escalations. Provide operational support for the Americas Business Process Owner.
- Drive operational processes to improve and maintain master data accuracy.
- Responsible for quality/service complaints administration, KPI control, provide audit support by conducting monthly off site inventory assessment and reporting.
- Control process changes and monitor through agreed disciplines.
- Process invoices for freight, warehouse and sample vendors. Process end of month reporting for finance.

- Maintain Americas Supply Chain intra company website and process and procedures.

Other general responsibilities:

- Follows instructions and performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
- Assists other employees in accomplishment of Huntsman company goals.
- Participates in and completes company-required training programs.
- Participates in Environmental, Health, & Safety initiatives as set forth by the company.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in business.
- 2 to 5 years of logistics experience, plus 2 to 5 years of carrier analysis experience.
- Must have a strong level of SAP knowledge.
- Strong knowledge of OBIEE Reporting.
- Knowledge of Admat product portfolio and customer base preferred.
- Knowledgeable on land-, sea
- and air-freight processes, incoterms and carriers.
- Process driven with strong problem identification and resolution skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Prior root cause analysis experience is a plus.
- Prior data management experience is a plus.
