**System Engineers / Level 1 (Ireland Support)**
**Job Purpose**:
- Independently provides full design, configuration and support for common systems infrastructure (HW and SW), including network and security settings, for both on-premise and cloud implementations.
- Assists senior technicians in design, configuration, development and support of widely shared, complex and critical infrastructure.
- Uses and up(dates automated delivery tools such as Teraform.
- Evaluates, tests and installs complex security patches and bug fixes as needed.
- Ensures appropriate failover solutions are implemented and tested to meet business continuity needs.
- Ensures backout plans are created and executable in the event of an implementation problem.
- Continually updates skillset and stays abreast of technologies trends and developments.
- May also provide technical guidance to Associate System Engineers.
**Responsibilities**:
- Creates and maintains technical documentation, asset inventories and configuration information.

- Analyzes vendor invoices for accuracy, maintains inventory and orders equipment (5%)
- Seeks and leverages opportunities to expand knowledge and skill base (5%)
**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:
- 3 to 5 Years of relevant work experience.
- Associate Degree with Systems Engineering or Related field (nice to have, but GED is required/mandatory).
- Experience support LINUX servers (must have).
- **Other Education / Certifications**: VMWare VCP-DCV, MCSA: Windows Server 2012/2016,Azure Associate, VCSA, ITIL Foundation, LPIC1, HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate,AWS Certified Developer - Associate.

**Working Conditions**:
- On-call availability required as necessary.
- Work schedule: 2:00 am - 10:00 am / Monday to Friday, one monthly weekend required (this last schedule paid as Overtime)
