Manager Vendor Technical Enablement- Ensures builds are consistent with architectural standards and will meet specified needs. Independently makes important decisions regarding engineering, configuration, demo presentations, capacity planning based on infrastructure needs.- Coaching and assist System Engineers and Associate Engineers to meet workload demands. Continually updates skillset and stays abreast of technologies trends and developments.**Role and Responsibilities**
- Designs, configures, and supports demo delivery and complex content delivery to enable business and support organic growth.
- Prioritize work, and provides structure and direction to Engineers and Associate Engineers as necessary to meet team commitments.
- Coaching and assist with new product lines & technology advancements.
- Monitoring workload and acting as a point of escalation for the Systems Engineering team.
- Participate in departmental projects in senior leadership/ownership role including the creation, management and implementation of departmental projects.
**Qualifications and Education Requirements**
- Engineering Degree or Related field of study required**Other Education / Certifications preferred**:
- VMWare VCP-DCV, MCSA: Windows Server 2012/2016, Azure Associate, VCSA, ITIL Foundation, LPIC1, HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate, AWS Certified Developer - Associate.
**Key Skills**:
- Possess basic Linux admin skills - Install, package management, service stop/start, load/unload modules etc., manage devices etc.
- Building blocks of a Linux based OS.
- Basic command lines every SRE should know.
- Troubleshooting and concepts on four core resources - CPU, Memory, Disk and Network.
- Performance troubleshooting on one or more of the core resources.
- Possess Virtualization knowledge - Basics of Hypervisor. Awareness of industry-leading bare-metal Hypervisors
