About World Business Lenders ( www.wbl.com) World Business Lenders (WBL) provides general purpose short-term real estate collateralized commercial loans to a broad customer base comprised of small and medium sized businesses throughout the United States that lack access to traditional funding.
Generally, working hours will be 9:00am-6:00pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, although hours worked may be greater based upon operational requirements.
The job requires excellent oral and written command of the English language.

About the Job Our rapid growth has created an excellent career opportunity in our Administration department.
In a fast paced, high expectation, results oriented environment, the Legal Expense Analyst will be responsible for analyzing, tracking and maintaining current legal expenses, and developing and administering policies and procedures to ensure prospective legal expenses are incurred judiciously and only in accordance with established policy.
Responsibilities: Conduct a comprehensive audit of all existing legal expenses, the majority of which relate to outside attorneys and other vendors that support the Company's loss mitigation effort.
Analyze trends and identify opportunities for cost-savings, to optimize legal expense management.
Develop and administer legal expense policies and procedures, including budgeting and a defined approval process prior to expenses being incurred.
Review and validate legal expenses, identifying and appropriately escalating any invoicing errors/discrepancies.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with outside attorneys and other vendors, negotiating favorable terms and resolving any issues.
Track and monitor legal expenses on an ongoing basis to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
Propose cost-saving strategies to management to enable cost efficiency and effective financial planning.
Other projects and duties as assigned.
Requirements Bachelor's Degree (four year college or technical school) in Finance, Accounting or a related field, and/or a Paralegal certificate.
3-5 years experience in the lending/mortgage industry preferred.
100% fluency in English, with exceptional English verbal and written communication skills Experience with Microsoft: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams is required.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
Ability to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
You must have your own laptop or desktop to use (the company does not supply equipment).
