**About the job**:
**Essential duties and job responsibilities**:
- Drive the design, implementation, and adoption of internal APIs
- Work with SQL databases and collaborate with the data team
- Champion best practices in software development and Agile methodologies
- Build software using test-driven development, with an eye for good design patterns
- Collaborate heavily with Product Management, Analytics, and Salesforce team members as well as the executive leadership team
- Cultivate empathy with stakeholders to help realize and deliver the optimal UIX
- Mentor junior members of the engineering team
**Requirements**:
- 8+ years of software engineering experience.
- 3+ years of experience with ReactJS and NextJS.
- 3+ years of experience with NodeJS.
- At least 2 years of experience leading software development teams.
- Proficient in web stack programming, from schema design to building user-facing interfaces.
- Build software on a cloud computing platform like AWS / Azure using CI/CD pipelines.
- Work with and maintain SQL relational databases.
- Comfortable learning and working in any part of the stack, from building and styling React components to designing and deploying NodeJS APIs.
- Collaborate with engineers through Git Version control and peer reviews.
- Written technical documentation and can work effectively in a hybrid environment.
- Great communication skills, and ability to understand and convert business requirements to technical requirements.
- Solution oriented attitude when collaborating with stakeholders.
