Supply Chain plays a key role within the strategic agenda for BAT, due to the transformational momentum that the organization is experiencing due to New Categories conversion. This Lead Finance Manager role will business partner with a cross-functional team to provide value-added support in driving the growth of the business.**Reports to**:Finance Manager**Reporting Level**:No direct reports**Geographic Scope**:USA**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**- Support/lead the development of financial modeling and provide scenario analyses to drive commercial business decisions.- Responsible for Operations overheads control and follow up.- Responsible for Business Case's governance (approval and reporting).- Lead the preparation of Business Cases (by project, by area).- Consolidate Capital Expenditure (Capex) needs by area, by project + on time in full follow up and reporting.- Lead product materials variance analysis, insights and recommendations.- Collaborate with Quality, Primary and Secondary areas on validation and follow up of key performance indicators.- Responsible to analyze Product Costing variations (actual vs forecast) by Combustibles and New Categories, understanding and explaining main drivers.- Responsible to coordinate with key stakeholders (such as Leaf, Treasury, Sales) the main assumptions during forecast period.- Develop and present analytics to the organization that highlights business risks and opportunities.- Identify best practices and standardize where possible.- Contribute to Monthly Finance Operations Review by developing value-added financial insights.- Responsible for performance and documentation of various internal controls.- Provide leadership and coordination to drive continuous department/process improvement.- Assist/lead special projects as needed.**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**- 5+ years of experience in Accounting, Financial Analysis, or Commercial/Finance Operations area.- Strong knowledge of finance / analytics.- Demonstrate commercial acumen (main drivers for product costing variations).- Good understanding of product materials dynamics.- Strong knowledge of product operation and production interactions.- Ability to perform under pressure and navigate through ambiguity.- Capacity for innovation.- Ability to think strategically, with strong influencing and leadership skills.- Strong problem-solving skills.- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.- Ability to make quick decisions, use good judgment, and ask relevant questions.- High sense of urgency, work ethic, and must be flexible.- Ability to work under mínimal supervision; must be a self-starter.- Must demonstrate financial responsibility and reliability.- Must be detail oriented.- Ability to challenge the status quo as necessary.- High proficiency in PC skills and detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint.- Fluent in English.- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related area.**BENEFICIAL**- CPA, MBA, or Master of Accounting.- SAP knowledge is a plus.**WE ARE BAT**At BAT we are committed to our Purpose of creating A Better Tomorrow.
