**What you will do**:
Responsibilities include performing account analysis, approving account reconciliations, preparing accounting statements and reports, and coordinating and management of account reporting and filings.
Plans coordinates and resolves accounting matters with other Accounting members, departments, locations, and divisions.
- Ensure timely and quality completion of period close processes
- Manage analysis of balance sheet and P&L transactions.
- Review, control and approve Account Reconciliation.
- Supervise month-end close activities and communicate risks and opportunities to Accounting Supervisor.
- Find opportunities to improve closing activities and drive process improvement
- Take a leadership role for accounting related issues and ensure company adherence to policies and procedures, US GAAP, and local GAAP
- Maintain business partnerships with other client departments, locations and regions, and internal customers/suppliers.
- Oversee and support the Sr and Accounting positions in the team by promoting a team environment and providing work direction and guidance.
- Complete special projects as assigned.
- Performs other related work as assigned by management
**What you need**
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Proficiency in the English language
- Computer Literacy: MS Office, particularly Excel
- ERP System (SAP, Oracle or QAD)
**Qualifications & experience**:
- 4-5 years of relevant working experience in a finance function in a matrixed international company (preferably an American or Multinational company) with complex reporting practices and with exposure to various reporting systems
- Experience of working in a shared service center across a global /large organization will be an added advantage

- Ability to work well with cross-functional teams and multi-task
- Versatile, motivated, creative, intellectually curious, an excellent communicator and collaborator
- Demonstrated ability to perform consistently under varying business pressure as well as ability to adapt to a quickly changing environment
