**What you will do**:
- Essential duties & responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and quality completion of period close processes
- Manage analysis of balance sheet and P&L transactions.
- Review, control and approve Account Reconciliations of Intercompany accounts.
- Supervise month-end close activities and communicate risks and opportunities to Associate Manager.
- Find opportunities to improve closing activities and drive process improvement
- Take leadership role for accounting related issues and ensure company adherence to policies and procedures, US GAAP and local GAAP
- Maintain business partnerships with other client departments, locations and regions, and internal customers/suppliers.
- Oversee and support the clerk positions in the team by promoting a team environment and provide work direction and guidance.
- Complete special projects as assigned.
- Performs other related work as assigned by management
**What you need**:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Proficiency in the English language
- Computer Literacy: MS Office, particularly Excel
- ERP System (SAP, Oracle or QAD)
- Qualifications & experience:
- 4-5 years of relevant working experience in a finance function in matrixed international company (preferably American or Multinational company) with complex reporting practices and with exposure to various reporting systems
- Experience of working in a shared service center across a global /large organization will be an added advantage
