The position is a strategic member of the Latin America Regional Controllers team. Responsible to lead the initiative of centralization of local regulatory reports initiative across Latam countries, and BAU processes related to this migration
As regional analyst, this position will report to Regional Local Regulatory Reporting head, and will interact with Country Controllers, CFOs, LLR heads, GFT, Risk & Controls and the Integrated Close leads in Latin America. A key component of this role is the identification of standardization opportunities to leverage on best practices across the region
This Regional role is critical in ensuring proper and timely alignment with regulatory requests
**Job Summary**
The position is an integral member of the Local Regulatory Reporting Group. The core responsibilities include assurance of reports, standardizations, optimizations, and development of best practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Represents Latam region in the centralization initiative
- Leads Regional efforts to accomplish this task
- Liaison with Cluster Heads, Country Controllers, GFT, GPA, FRSS, GPOs and Process Improvements team
- Partners with global teams and other regions to ensure best practices are considered as potential solutions to automate reports and adopt best practices
- Participates in all Finance projects and initiatives to support LRR
- Collaborates in the definition of LRR taxonomy and operating model for the region
- Ensures proper control points are included in LRR process
- Performs analysis of existing regulatory reporting processes and solutions
- Understands requirements and challenges from reporting teams
- Provides support to country Finance teams on an ad-hoc basis (e.g. audits, regulatory inquiries, reports centralization, etc)
- Ensures standardization and simplification of processes
- Communicates changes timely for proper alignments
- Organize meetings across teams/SMEs as needed
**Qualifications**
Knowledge/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or similar careers
- At least 10 years of experience in a Financial Control / financial reporting / accounting role
- Finance tools expert is a plus: FullSuite, Cosmos, etc
- 10+ years of experience in Regulatory & Management Reporting
- Experience managing products preferable

- Bi-lingual: English (Advanced level) & Spanish
