The Finance Reporting Senior Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible to analyze, document and improve financial reports and processes related in coordination with the Finance Team to reduce manual risk and reduce execution time.
The overall objective of this role is to support improvement team and support new projects related to local regulatory reporting in accordance with local guidelines.
**Responsibilities**:
- Create improvement of local regulatory reports for local countries across LATAM region (local regulators, BCR, SBS, Central Bank, etc.)
based on local requirements such as local GAAP, local Regulatory
- Support of LRR transformation for Latin America countries, driving efficiencies and the adoption of best practices for standardization of local regulatory reporting
- Analyze complex finance processes to suggest and implement reengineering
- Interpret and adopt global guidelines to country context, generating meaningful and cost effective solutions for the country.
- To support the delivery of better value and greater efficiency through the identification and elimination of unnecessary complexity within business processes and identification of better ways of working
- To complete post implementation reviews to ensure successful delivery has been achieved and to ensure that improvements can be made for future projects
- Use effective communication to present to senior management and collaborate with other departments / teams in order to implement reporting regulatory solutions, as well as drive the change control process.
- Work with senior leadership on strategic planning, establishing guidelines, implementing controls, and executing strategic plans
- Assist with the implementation of policies and procedures
- Has the ability to work with a limited level of direct supervision and remotely.
- Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
**Qualifications**:
- 5+ years of related experience
- Financial Services Industry and Project Management experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel, Access and Knime
- Ability to work with multiple functions
- Proven problem-solving skills
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
