The LATAM Indirect Tax Analyst, has a key role in the Consumer transformation by showing accountability of the in-scope markets processes knowledge transfer, coordination, and execution towards achieving KPI's.
Applies extensive knowledge of the job skills, company policies and procedures to complete complex, specialized assignments/tasks in creative and effective ways. Comprehensive understanding of the general/technical aspects of the tax and accounting process.
Works on assignments that are complex in nature and require judgment, initiative, and technical/specialized knowledge to resolve problems and/or develop recommended solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Performs transactional activities for Indirect Tax (VAT/WHT), reconciliation of tax accounts, and preparation of reconciliations of accounting reports.
- Performs data extraction to provide basis information for Federal and States tax returns reports associated to VAT/WHT.
- Creates and maintain the Standard of Procedures (SOP) for law updates, process changes, and the inclusion of special situations or scenarios.
- Develops an understanding of Haleon´s financial processes and a working knowledge of the business.
- Prepare and analyze information for VAT/WHT tax returns and create the support documentation require by tax authorities in LATAM markets.
- Provide support of transactional activities and reports for government, fiscal or external audits and requirements of information.

Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- 2+ years working with Tax or Accounting processes on a Shared Service Center environment.
- Advanced studies in Business Administration or Accounting
- Proficient Understanding of Accounting Processes.
- Strong knowledge in tax topics for LATAM markets (Argentina, Chile, Peru preferable).
- Intermediate-Advanced level English proficiency.
- Strong Business Applications in computer packages: MS Office (Intermediate) / Excel (formulas, pivot tables, macros...) and Power Point (Executive presentations).
- Power BI and SAP knowledge is a good to have.
- High Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills.
- Excellent customer service skills
